Jesus is originally from Sacramento, California and graduated from Sacramento State Universtiy with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish. He then obtained his Master's in Education Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Jesus worked in education for over 22 years starting his journey as a high school ELD Teacher with Sunnyside Unified School District. He later worked began his administrative career in 2011 at SUSD as Assistant Principal. In 2017, Jesus became the Principal at Dietz K8.
Jesus is married to his wife and has 4 children ranging from age 11-26. Jesus enjoys being a coach for his son's baseball team for the past 15 years and working on his family's ranch in his free time.
Jesus' kids help him to appreciate and value many different types of personalities and beliefs that each child brings.
