School Photos - Yaqui Cultural Lessons
Feliciana Martinez and Felicia Leon from our Native American Student Services taught a Yaqui story to Dietz kindergarteners about the Snake People. This story teachers kindness to all creatures that live around us. Students also made a snake art project that they colored and assembled.

What Makes Us Special
At Dietz, we value each child's learning experience and will work to support and nurture our students.  Our efforts were encouraged by the recent visit of the newly appointed TUSD Superintendent, Dr. Gabriel Trujillo.  Dr. Trujillo joined members of our Dietz Neighborhood Association as they hosted the first of their quarterly meetings in the Dietz cafeteria.  Members were able to ask questions about the direction of the District and how that journey will include Dietz K-8.  Thank you Dr. Trujillo for being an awesome Dragon!
